The Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India have notified that the Central Board of Secondary Education shall be the organization to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses. NEET exam conducted in twice in year in February and May Month in online mode. The total paper is of 720 marks. There is negative marking in the exam. The exam for incorrect answer one mark will be deducted. The Subjects included in NEET Exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The NEET Exam is conducted in Hindi and English. From 2017 onwards NEET exam is conducted in Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarat languages also Kannada, Odia language are also added into it. So students can write an exam in nine Indian languages and English.
The NEET Exam has been replaced by the AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) from this year.
